LETTER OF APPRECIATION
It was about 6 month ago almost exactly to the date, when I was still hobbling on crutches down the hallways of the Millennium Hotel at the International Society for the Study of Energies and Energy Medicine
Convention (ISSSEEM) in Boulder, Colorado. There I met Rachel Madorsky.
The ISSSEEM book store offered “Create Your Own Destiny! Spiritual Path to Success” by Rachel Madorsky. I had no idea of who she was, nor did I know that she was the author of that book at the time of our meeting.
Rachel simply asked me if she could sit next to me at the next workshop where we were both heading. Sure I replied as I limped down the dark corridor on my crutches. She wanted to know if it would be alright with me if she put her hand on my injured leg and I had no objection…..
My foot had been severely crushed in a head on car collision. It had taken an expert surgeon about 9 hours to reconstruct my foot. I feel very blessed just to be alive and found joy in the mere fact that I was well enough to attend the conference. Rachel offering her “healing touch” was absolutely welcome to me and I felt really blessed that she would offer to do that.
The fascinating part about this entire first encounter was the fact that she moved her hand after a little while to a spot under my right shoulder blade, where I have been hurting for years. Her hand gave off the welcome radiating heart like sunlight beating on your back on a beautiful spring morning. She kept her hand in this position until this old nagging pain disappeared…. I was amazed. How did she know I was hurting there? This pain had been so persistent in my life and I just accepted it being there forever. I finally turned to her and asked her how she knew, that I had pain right there... She just smiled and said “I know. I also know it is stress.” She was right; that pain always flared up whenever I had more stress in my life.
Rachel & I met a few more times in different workshops, where she proceeded to put her hands on my left injured leg a few more times. On the last day of the convention she invited me to leave my crutches and walk without them… AND I DID!
I have waited 6 month to write this report. The pain in my back has not returned although I have had my share of stress.
I have now finally started physical therapy to regain the full range of motion in my rather stiff foot and I am walking without devices, and occasionally pain free.
One could meet Rachel Madorsky through her book, in which one learns that she has truly embraced one of the most important wisdoms necessary for a healer. In my view, that wisdom is the acknowledgement that the healing energy comes through her from the divine.
