Spiritual Tracker

"When the pupil is ready, the master  will appear."

Just how important are reading signs in your life? Well, you know the traffic signs—and you recognize just by shape the stop, yield, or crossing signs. But I’m talking about the other signs . . . the ones you receive from your guardian angel or spirit guide. The ones you receive from above. How good you are at reading those signs depends on whether you even notice them.

Picture this. You’re lost in the wilds—and your first needs are for food and water. What would you do? How would you read the signs? The signs are all there, laid out for you in the earth, in the twigs and branches, in the sky and sun. Can you see them?

Well, that’s pretty much how your spirit guide or guardian angel tries to lay out things. There are clues all around you, but you have to be in the stillness, in the quiet of your heart, to see them, to recognize their importance.

What kind of signs am I talking about? Well, have you ever been faced with an important decision—and were looking for confirmation that you made the right choice?  Just dwell on your decision—and then watch for clues. Perhaps you see a flock of white birds—unusual to the area—on your front lawn. Or maybe there’s a hail storm—not normal for spring—that covers everything within eyesight with a blanket of white. Or perhaps you see a rainbow, sparkling, effervescent in the blue sky, even though there’s been no rain to speak of.  All these could be interpreted as symbols you’re on the right path.

Each of you is a hunter searching for spirituality, for inner peace, for validity, for the truth that needs to become part of your life.  Nothing external can create inner peace.  Spirituality, not materiality, gives life meaning.  Yet look around to see many people who are on that route and at a loss when happiness doesn’t abound.

Renewed spirituality gives you a sense of purpose, transforming a mundane existence to an intense, celestial one.  You are trackers, using observation and analysis to search for clues and symbols on your earthly trail.  Some people are savvy, able to read the minutest pawprints, able to decipher the symbols correctly, able to interpret the signs with ease.  Others are thrown off by false trails, unaware that the clues and signs aren’t being translated or interpreted properly.  These missteps provide an opportunity for pause and reflection.

Over time, tracking can improve your concentration and enhance your awareness to see the larger picture developing around you.  Tracking can help you read people and situations better by becoming more alert to energies and disturbances surrounding you.

The trail to spirituality is different for each.  You each have a purpose. That purpose gives your existence meaning and definition. You each are on earth to learn a lesson or to right a past wrong or to relive an experience to make the correct choice this time around.

The trail for some may be easier than for others who find themselves on a vertical ascent to spiritual awareness.  Some may have chosen to learn greater lessons and thus must stumble over large obstacles on their path to spiritual greatness. Some who spent previous incarnations pleasuring their physical senses now may live an austere existence.  Those who can tap into their crystalized intelligence learn lessons quicker by remembering past experience rather than needing to relive the experience in this lifetime.

Each of you is a hunter searching for spiritual guidance.  Listen carefully to the quiet of your heart.  Your spirit guides may speak to you in mind flashes, leaving the interpretation to you.  Your spirit guides may use intuition--a bolt of inspiration or an unusual thought in an unusual voice. Or symbols may appear in a scene from a particularly vivid dream.  Or you may get a prickly feeling of déjà vu--that you’ve been here and done that before.  Your guides may use scents to awaken hidden thoughts and unlock closed doors of the mind. Or you may have a serendipitous encounter--thinking about someone who you rarely see only to bump into them at the store.  Your subconscious mind uses symbolism and imagery. Cultivate your inner eyesight.  Using all five senses simultaneously aids in the correct interpretation of symbolism from the higher realm.

When the pupil is ready, the master will appear.  Perhaps now you’ve reached the stage in your spiritual evolution or revolution where you’re ready for more information, for that ethereal knowledge to remove your earthly blinders.  Perhaps now you’re ready to think in circles or rounds rather than straight lines and squares.

Your master may appear in many forms.  You may think the master is a teacher in a school environment.  But the master could appear in the form of a book. Perhaps a title that intrigues causes you to read its contents, and while doing so, to reach out and explore the cosmos.  A book can cause an avalanche of new thinking, opening new pathways, and new hyperlinks to thinking.  With your new-found knowledge, you can tap into the cosmos--the universal mind with no limitation.

The master could be a person, someone with whom to share unworldly ideas and concepts. The master could be found in nature as a brilliant sunrise or sunset that plants the seeds of spiritual inquisitiveness in you, causing you to search for your past to understand your future.  To me, sunrises and sunsets are magnets, drawing me back into the beauty of the universe and are always a reminder of life on the ethereal plane.

Oftentimes, visions, visitations, or mental conversations are accompanied by physical signs, such as goose bumps or crawling flesh, or the hair at the back of your neck on edge, or a heightened sense of awareness or crystallized intelligence, or an outpouring of emotion through tears or incredulous joy, or a skipped heartbeat that takes your breath away, or even smells--unusual, permeating, unexplainable, and lingering. The symbols that guide you on your spiritual journey are all around.

Your spiritual journey is a continual shedding and rebirthing, a right of passing.  Spiritual journey evokes change, for you cannot spend time with yourself without uncovering hidden gems of universal connectedness.  Change within yourself ripples the universal fabric that you--by all your actions and emotions--touch.

To improve your ability to understand the cosmic symbols, you must make a conscious decision to change your life, to pay more attention to the cues, to hold your daily thoughts to a higher task master.  By doing so, you reap the benefits of raising your consciousness to reach its highest level. You raise your awareness to read the signs.
